Doctors’ group urges more preventive measures, testing for foreign workers

The Malaysian Medical Association has urged the government to take extra preventive and testing measures for foreign workers. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Seth Akmal, May 25, 2020.

EXTRA preventive measures should be taken to stop the spread of Covid-19 among the workforce, especially foreign workers, said the Malaysian Medical Association . Its president Dr N. Ganabaskaran said more emphasis should be given to safe physical distancing, the wearing of face masks and personal hygiene among the workforce, with testing focused on foreign workers in line with the Health Ministry’s targeted approach to testing.
