Deputy minister wants Hamid to back up claims about rotten officers

Deputy Home Minister II Jonathan Yasin says it would be wise for Abdul Hamid Bador to lodge a report and give the data that he claims is in his possession. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 15, 2022.

THE Home Ministry has asked former inspector-general of police Abdul Hamid Bador to provide evidence on supposed organised crime within the police force. Deputy Home Minister II Jonathan Yasin said it would be wise for Hamid to lodge a report and give the data that he claimed he had, adding that the ministry was prepared to launch an investigation if the allegations turn out to be true.
