The Xiaomi 12 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 can be yours for less than RM2,000 during the 9.25 payday sale. The compact Xiaomi 12 can be yours for as low as RM1,499.

To recap, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro are last year’s flagship smartphones which are running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The smaller Xiaomi 12 gets a 6.28″ 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display while the Xiaomi 12 Pro gets a larger and higher-resolution 6.73″ QuadHD+ 120Hz display. The Xiaomi 12 series can be configured with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of non-expandable UFS 3.1 storage.

In the camera department, the Xiaomi 12 gets a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP telemacro camera. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12 Pro gets a more versatile triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50MP telephoto camera that offers 2x optical zoom. Both models get a 32MP selfie shooter that sits in a tiny punch-hole.

The Xiaomi 12 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast wired charging via USB-C. The larger Xiaomi 12 Pro gets a slightly bigger 4,600mAh battery but it supports an even faster 120W fast wired charging. Both versions also support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Connectivity-wise, both are 5G smartphones which also support WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. There are also stereo speakers but the Pro boasts a quad-speaker setup which consists of tweeter and woofer units on each side. You can learn more about these devices in our
