Deadline comes and goes without a buyer for Equanimity

The super yacht Equanimity has yet to be sold after the March 31 deadline. A lawyer involved in the sale says the government will be making an announcement on the matter soon. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 1, 2019.

PUTRAJAYA has not been able to sell the super yacht Equanimity after several offers did not meet its minimum asking price of US$130 million , which is half of its original price. The government had set March 31 as the deadline to reach a deal to sell the Equanimity but despite several offers, the vesselEffective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
