DBKL tebang 173 pokok berisiko tinggi di Kuala Lumpur

: Persidangan Dewan Rakyat hari ini dimaklumkan bahawa daripada 1,488 pokok berusia di sekitar ibu kota yang diperiksa sejak 2019 hingga kini, 173 pokok telah ditebang kerana berisiko tinggi.

“Bagi mencerminkan komitmen DBKL, sebanyak 21 kontraktor telah dilantik bermula 15 Jun 2024 bagi penyelenggaraan pokok rendang secara berkala dan setiap kontraktor perlu menyediakan seorang arboris, iaitu individu yang pakar dalam pemeriksaan pokok, untuk menilai tahap kesihatan dan tindakan mitigasi ke atas pokok,” katanya pada sesi soal jawab di Dewan Rakyat hari ini.

Bagi kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan pokok, beliau berkata menurut rekod DBKL, sejak Januari sehingga Jun kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan telah dijalankan ke atas 22,283 batang pokok.
