Kuala Lumpur City Hall will start to display the national flag at their buildings. The private and public sector will also fly the national flag. Kuala Lumpur residents are encouraged to do the same at their houses.
“This year’s theme is ‘Malaysia Prihatin’ which is in line with the aspirations adopted by the government. “It has been 140 days since the movement control order began in March and even though the recovery MCO is expected to end on Aug 31, the ministry will continue to ensure that the spread of the virus is under control in the city,” he said at the launch of the Kibar Jalur Gemilang campaign at Dataran Merdeka, Jalan Raja, here.
