PETALING JAYA: DAP dan sayap pemudanya menegaskan ia tidak sama sekali ada kaitan dengan penerbitan buku komik kontroversi “Inisiatif Jalur dan Jalan – Meraih Manfaat Bersama”, yang mencetuskan perbalahan antara beberapa pemimpin akar umbi dan wakil rakyatnya dengan parti komponen Pakatan Harapan lain.
“Kandungan komik tersebut adalah perspektif peribadi pengarang hasil inisiatif Asia Comic Culture Museum. Sama ada perspektif tersebut adalah benar atau tidak benar adalah bergantung kepada tafsiran pembaca,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini. Pertikaian tercetus selepas Kementerian Pendidikan mengarahkan Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri dan Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah memastikan semua sekolah tidak menerima dan membuat edaran buku komik itu selepas menerima laporan berkaitan edarannya ke sekolah di seluruh Malaysia.
