With the unofficial results, DAP are holding a commanding lead in Bagan, Bukit Mertajam, Batu Kawan, Bukit Bendera, Tanjong, Jelutong and Bukit Gelugor. In Bukit Mertajam, Steven Sim Chee Keong leads with 63,160 votes followed by PN’s Steven Koh Tien Yew and BN’s Tan Yang Pang Syerleena Abdul Rashid leads in Bukit Bendera with 30,090 votes. PN’s Hng Chee Wey is second with 3,060 votes and BN’s Richie Huan Xin Yun comes in third with 2,775 votes.
