Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Mohamed Mohamed said that the victim was riding along Jalan Desa 3 in Bandar Country Homes on July 2 just after midnight on Sunday .
"The victim is believed to have lost control of his bicycle on the left side of the road before crashing into a lamp post and was thrown to the ground," he said in a statement. "The victim suffered serious injuries to the head and was pronounced dead by medical officers from the Sungai Buloh Hospital," he added.
