KUALA LUMPUR, April 22 — The Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services has suggested that the Public Service Department give more emphasis to circulars that are already in force but still not fully implemented by some departments.
“PSD needs to monitor every circular that has been approved by the government so that the rights and welfare of civil servants are not neglected. This is important to ensure that every objective set for civil servants is implemented effectively,” he said in a statement today. “The failure of certain departments to implement this circular will certainly affect the work motivation of civil servants,” he said.
