Suspek bertindak membuang satu bungkusan guni ke laut dan menukar haluan lalu berpatah balik menuju ke arah sempadan Thailand

LANGKAWI: Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia Kedah dan Perlis berjaya mematahkan cubaan menyeludup ganja mampat dipercayai dari negara jiran bernilai RM45,000 di sini, semalam.

Menurutnya, Sistem Pengawasan Laut Malaysia Langkawi mengesan pergerakan mencurigakan sebuah bot gentian kaca yang memasuki perairan negara dari sempadan Thailand dalam keadaan gelap. “Menyedari kehadiran bot peronda Maritim Malaysia, suspek bertindak membuang satu bungkusan guni ke laut dan menukar haluan lalu berpatah balik menuju ke arah sempadan Thailand,” katanya dalam kenyataan di sini, hari ini.
