KOTA KINABALU: Sabah health officials are tracing the contacts of two new local Covid-19 cases in the state.

Sabah Health Department director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi said that the first case was a woman from Luyang here, who was found positive at a private hospital where she sought treatment, while the second case was detected at Ranau hospital.She said health officials in Kota Kinabalu and Ranau were carrying out contact tracing for the two latest cases.

The Luyang case has spurred concerns on social media, with people urging the Health Department to release more details of the woman, especially regarding her recent movement and contacts.
