NILAI (Bernama): Those who underwent a 14-day quarantine at a monitoring centre at the Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT) near here after their return from Wuhan, China were extremely pleased with the services provided by the medical team and other personnel on duty.

An employee of a shipping company, Irwan Rustang, 36, said he was grateful for the excellent service he received during his quarantine after being evacuated from Wuhan on Feb 4 through the Malaysian Humanitarian Aid Mission, following the Covid-19 outbreak in that country.

He was among 107 Malaysians and their family members who were allowed to leave AKEPT on Tuesday after the quarantine period and were confirmed free of Covid-19 infection. All of them had been brought home on a special flight from Wuhan on Feb 4. "Throughout the stay, the service has been very good and we thank the Malaysian Government for being efficient in this regard," she said.
