PUTRAJAYA: Students sitting for examinations or returning to campuses and hostels are not required to do a swab test unless they show Covid-19 symptoms, says Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said there had been suggestions for students to undergo screening before returning to campuses and hostels and pay for it themselves.

"The National Security Council’s special meeting has decided that there is no need to make screening mandatory for students sitting for exams or for those returning to campuses and hostels.Ismail Sabri was earlier asked to clarify reports saying that certain educational institutes require students to undergo a screening before sitting for an exam or to return to campus, with the cost borne by students.

Man, who is this guy and where did he come from and why is he always talking to reporters.

Well, absolutely noo

Showing symptoms needs 21days after being infected (too late) . self discipline is very important in pandemic prevention measurements.(love yourself and community)

So where is prevention?

I already do YB😂👍

This is what will happen if the nation is administered by incompetent people's like this backdoor people's!

I don’t even understand why school is on for some Why can’t it wait for after MCO?

Wait for cluster spm to be announce soon , genius!

One year passed and they never learned

Ouch, then it will be too late as many countries have experienced, like Japan. COVID19

Define symptoms pls ?

I thought for some people dont show symtoms eventhough they are infected with covid

What the Gov trying to do ... are they do preventative action or trying to get the cases worst ..

IsmailSabri60 remember what happened when u said no need to do swab test and quarantine for those returning from sabah? Heard of the word “asymptomatic”?

Minister needs a swab test to see how far up it reaches before we find a brain. I suspect the whole swab will disappear.

Why Why

Prolonging darurat? Which camp you on?

I wonder who were advising him for many unfathomable decisions; kedai tutup jam 8, tak perlu kuarantin, tak perlu swab.

Symptoms or no symptoms, just get them tested. Better safe than sorry... or dead COVID19 MCO2 trustnoone

Muka Cibai memberi kenyataan....bayangkanlah apa yang akan berlaku selepas ini

Basically, no symptoms, no test. Prolonging the crisis, is it?

Dh screenshot..lolz
