KLANG: The Selangor state government will kickstart its Covid-19 vaccination programme for youngsters aged 12 and above on Sunday (Oct 24).

In a statement issued Friday , Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the first leg of the exercise under the state's Youth SelVax Programme will kickstart at the Klang Municipal Council multipurpose hall in Pandamaran Jaya here.

"Schools will be given specific voucher codes that will enable students to self-register on the SELangkah application," said Amirudin. According to the Mentri Besar, so far, 3,416 names of students have been received and this encompassed 1,235 students from the state's integrated tahfiz schools, 1,181 from integrated primary religious schools and 1,000 names of students from other tahfiz schools in the state.
