PETALING JAYA: Sabah mencatatkan 1 lagi kluster baru Covid-19 kali ini juga di Semporna.
Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, kluster Bakau membabitkan kes indeks wanita warga Filipina yang meninggal dunia pada 18 September.“Susulan itu, saringan kontak rapat dijalankan dan 2 lagi kes positif bagi kluster Bakau dikenal pasti. Dua kes positif ini melibatkan seorang warganegara Malaysia dan 1 warganegara Filipina. Mereka dimasukkan ke Hospital Tawau untuk rawatan,” katanya dalam kenyataan.
“Langkah pencegahan jangkitan, termasuk proses nyah kuman dan pembersihan dijalankan di Hospital Semporna. Punca jangkitan masih dalam siasatan,” katanya.Selain kluster Selamat, kluster Benteng dan kluster Bunga masih aktif di Sabah, membabitkan 4 kluster aktif.
