Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata, kajian klinikal oleh Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia iaitu 'Solidarity trial' turut membuktikan ubat anti malaria hydroxychloroquine, serta 'lopinavir' dan 'ritonavir', tidak berkesan dalam merawat pandemik itu.
"Dulu kita tiada bukti yang kukuh, tetapi hari ini kita sudah ada kajian. Bukan hanya di Malaysia tapi ia juga membabitkan negara yang di bawah payung WHO," katanya.
