PUTRAJAYA: The Health Ministry has dismissed claims that Covid-19 patients in Tawau, Sabah are not provided with food around the clock.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the Tawau Hospital will give out food to its patients three times a day - during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“Our checks at the Tawau Hospital have found that patients are provided with breakfast around 7am, lunch at about noon and dinner close to 5.30pm in the evening. “At our hospitals, we set the time for food to be given to our patients throughout the day,” said Dr Noor Hisham at the ministry’s Covid-19 press conference here on Tuesday .
