KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A total of 1,331,262 individuals in the country have completed both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of Saturday (June 12), says Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

In a Twitter post, he said 3,030,096 individuals have received their first dose, taking the total number Covid-19 shots administered in the country to 4,361,358 doses.

The five states with the highest number of completed double doses are Selangor followed by Sarawak , Perak Johor and Kuala Lumpur . Meanwhile, according to the daily report on the total daily vaccine doses administered provided by the COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force and shared by Dr Adham, 133, 804 doses were given on Saturday with 100,360 people receiving their first dose and 33,444 receiving their second dose.- BernamaJumlah yang terima dos pertama ialah 3,030,096 orang.

The deployment of Covid-19 vaccines began on Feb 26, and 1.33 mil. people fully vaccinated by June 12. The rate of innoculation comes to 12,576 people/day. To fully vacinnate 26,221,000 (80%) of our population of 32,776,000 will thus take about 2,085 days, or 5.71 years. Hooray!
