COVID-19 | Most of the cases are recorded in Sabah, while Penang overtakes Selangor for the second-highest number of cases in a day.

| The Health Ministry today reported 1,755 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the 24-hour period ending noon today.

This is the highest number of cases in a single day ever reported in Malaysia, of which only three cases today are imported.Leading indicators in brief:According to the Health Ministry, one death occured at the Duchess of Kent Hospital in Sandakan, and another at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar.
