PETALING JAYA: The Covid-19 fear and closure of international borders will not hinder Dr Nur Amalina Che Bakri from planning her double wedding receptions in Britain and Malaysia.

Dr Amalina is engaged to an Englishman, and said that she is excited to be planning her"x2" wedding and added that she would not let the pandemic foil her wedding plans.

The 33-year-old trainee surgeon is part of the Imperial College London team involved in developing a vaccine for Covid-19."Excited planning x2 wedding ," she posted on Instagram.The comment segment was flooded with congratulatory messages from her followers. Among those congratulating her were celebrities Lisa Surihani, Daphne Iking, Vivi Yusof, and Datuk Aznil Nawawi.
