KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded a new Covid-19 cluster and 845 new cases on Sunday (March 13).

Minister in charge of Covid-19 matters in the state, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the new cluster - the Jalan Tambalang cluster - involved a total of 60 people and was a high-risk cluster.

“The case index for this new cluster is a 20-year-old female trainee for the Hope Village charity home in Jalan Tambalang, Tuaran,” he said during his daily briefing. She tested positive during a screen test on March 3 while the rest were subsequently tested as close contacts.On the overall new cases, he said sporadic infections made up 61% of the cases whereas over 98% of the total were under Category 1 and 2.Masidi reminded the public to continue observing SOPs to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
