Mesej tular itu menyebut, virus daripada kluster genom 614 merebak dengan cepat dan meminta orang ramai melaksanakan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Keluarga. Turut tersebar peringkat jangkitan Covid-19 bagi setiap individu dan langkah pencegahan serta kit perubatan yang perlu ada di setiap rumah. Penyebar maklumat turut mendakwa kanak-kanak dan warga emas tidak dibenarkan makan di kedai serta berkunjung ke pusat beli-belah."Anda dilarang untuk menyebarkan sebarang berita yang tidak sahih kerana akan mengelirukan orang ramai," kata kenyataan itu.
Menurut kenyataan itu lagi, berita palsu terbabit memberi kesan kepada penerimaan masyarakat apabila maklumat yang sahih daripada Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia tidak diterima sepenuhnya.
