washington Jumlah kematian akibat Covid-19 di Amerika Syarikat (AS) kini melepasi 5,000 orang.

Maklumat sama menunjukkan 884 pesakit maut akibat Covid-19 dalam tempoh 24 jam lalu.

Angka korban di AS lebih rendah berbanding di Itali dan Sepanyol tetapi melepasi jumlah yang direkodkan di China.Media melaporkan, Presiden AS Donald Trump sebelum ini meramalkan angka korban di negara itu akan berada pada tahap tertinggi dalam masa dua minggu lagi.
