Ketua Polis Daerah Labuan Superintendan Muhamad Farid Ahmad berkata, laluan haram itu termasuk kawasan perairan ke arah laut terbuka dan di darat.
"Kami juga mengenal pasti dan menutup laluan haram yang digunakan oleh orang tertentu di penempatan itu untuk ke laut dan bahagian lain berhampiran pusat bandar," katanya kepada pemberita selepas memantau situasi di pintu masuk utama ke penempatan berkenaan berhampiran Bangunan Komersial Saguking, di sini, hari ini.
Menteri Kanan Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob berkata, PKPD selama 14 hari itu bertujuan mengawal pergerakan penduduk di dua penempatan berkenaan dan bagi memudahkan saringan Covid-19 oleh Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia . Sementara itu, Muhamad Farid menasihatkan penduduk setempat agar tidak panik dan bimbang mengenai arahan PKPD di penempatan itu.
