NSTnation Companies should draw up contingency plans to deal with the Covid19 outbreak.

The call was made by the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and the Malaysian Trades Union Congress .

“The Malaysian Employers Federation should engage us at the national level for common guidelines. If there is a union in the enterprise, the employer should engage it,” he told theSolomon said it was high time the prime minister called for a tripartite consultation involving MTUC and MEF. FMM president Tan Sri Soh Thian Lai said contingency plans were necessary especially for those in high risk sectors like hotels, eateries, shopping malls, airports, airlines and other service industries that exposed employees to large crowds.
