In his update for the week ending Feb 4, Noor Hisham said the number of Covid-19 patients admitted to public hospitals under Category 1 to 5 dropped by 8.8% per 100,000 from the preceding week. He added that there was no change in overall bed occupancy for non-critical and ICU beds.Active cases declined slightly during the week to 9,476 from 9,478 the previous week. “Recoveries dropped by 41.7% from 2,177 cases to 1,270,” Noor Hisham said.
