Malaysia recorded 4,855 new Covid-19 cases and 3,347 recoveries on Thursday (May 13), while another 27 people succumbed to Covid-19. Read more at

In a statement, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said of the new cases, 4,852 cases were local infections while three were imported cases.

He also said there were 3,347 recoveries for a total of 414,707 to date, a 90.5% recovery rate.Of this number, 481 are in intensive care units , with 247 requiring ventilator support.
