KOTA KINABALU: Sixty-two infants below the age of one were among 4,770 new Covid-19 cases reported in Sabah on Monday (Feb 21) with the state's daily figures dropping below the 5,000 mark.

Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the infants were among 234 children below the age of five who tested positive."All of them who have been eligible for vaccination have yet to get vaccinated," he said in his daily Covid-19 briefing to the media.

He said 63.56% of the total new cases were due to sporadic infections, adding that the cases of sporadic infections in Kota Kinabalu accounted for 68.78% of the 1,198 new cases.
