| Malaysia today reported 22 new Covid-19 cases compared to 59 patients who have recovered, according to Health Ministry director-general Noor Hisham Abdullah.
Speaking at the Health Ministry's daily briefing in Putrajaya this evening, Noor Hisham said of the 22 new cases, five are were imported while 17 were local transmission.Noor Hisham said no new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours until noon today and the death toll remains at 113 casualties.He said 1,210 more patients are still under treatment. Of those under treatment, 13 are in the intensive care unit of which seven need a ventilator to breathe.
