Of the 13, eight are imported cases – six Malaysians and two permanent residents – involving individuals who were infected abroad, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah during his daily briefing in Putrajaya.
Dr Noor Hisham said of the five local transmission cases, three were Malaysians and two non-citizens. He also said another 12 cases have been discharged, which means 8,511 patients or 97.9% have recovered from Covid-19 since the outbreak began.At present, Dr Noor Hashim said that two Covid-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units , with both requirinig ventilator support.
