GOMBAK: After hours of digging under a collapsed buildings next to the Gombak LRT terminal in Taman Melati here, rescuers managed to locate two missing Indonesian workers amid the rubble.
He said the bodies of the husband and wife were found after a second search and rescue attempt at 9.30am. The bodies were pulled out about 2.30pm. Nordin said part of the building collapsed, probably due to structural weakness at the parking ramp going up to the higher floors.Gombak police chief Samsor Maarof said police have started their probe into the collapse.
One of the couple’s friends, Heru Susiawan, who informed police that the couple were missing, said he had coffee with them just last night.
