SEREMBAN: Police here have detained a married couple here after a video recording of them drinking what they initially claimed to be poison went viral.

"In the recording, the man can also be seen expressing his displeasure against our political leaders in the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. ACP Mohd Said added that the case is being investigated under section 505 of the Penal Code, the Communication and Multimedia Act and Section 31 of the Child Act 2001.
