KUALA LUMPUR: The Dewan Rakyat sitting on Tuesday will address concerns about the cost of living and overcrowding in prisons, as well as discuss the latest developments of the East Coast Rail Link project.
Rosol is seeking the government’s assurance that the move to float the price of chicken and eggs will not burden the people, who are already dealing with a high cost of living. There will also be a question from Wan Razali Wan Nor about the progress of the ECRL project, the number of local and foreign companies involved and whether there are any additional financial implications for the project.
The sitting will then continue with the debate on the Budget 2024, which was tabled by the prime minister on Friday .
