KUCHING: The late Able Seaman I Joanna Felicia Rohna, who perished in the crash of two Navy helicopters in Lumut, is expected to be buried at Kampung Engkaroh Tebakang in Serian on Thursday morning.Joanna's uncle, Bateh Mangkok, 65, said over 20 villagers held a gotong-royong on Wednesday to prepare the burial site at Kampung Engkaroh's Christian cemetery.

"We have completed our preparations for the burial site. We are now waiting for the body to arrive from Perak to Kuching and then to the village," he said. Bateh said a prayer service would be held for Joanna at his younger sibling's home on Wednesday night."The burial will be held tomorrow morning," he said."This was such a sudden and shocking incident. We are all very sad," he said.

Joanna, who was married with two children, was one of three women killed in the crash on Tuesday , which also claimed the lives of seven other Navy personnel.
