Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said police have identified the registration numbers of the cars involved based on closed-circuit television camera footage at the highway.
"The female driver in the four-wheel-drive vehicle had also made a police report, claiming that she was hit. We will investigate this as well," he said, adding that the woman has received treatment from the hospital.Comm Kamarul said that the case is being investigated under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act for driving recklessly and Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.
On Monday , Kulai OCPD Supt Tok Beng Yeow said the driver of the 4WD vehicle, which was seen in the viral video tailing a convoy of supercars before colliding with one, has been arrested at about 1am on Monday at the Kulai police headquarters.“She will be remanded for three days starting from Monday until Wednesday ,” he said in a statement here on Monday .
There was also another 20-second video showing the four-wheel-drive tailing the supercars before the incident.
