Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said 10 people, including a foreign woman, had been arrested in connection with the case where a man was shot by assailants at a house in Bandar Kinrara on Sept 21."We hope the public can assist us," he told a press conference in Bukit Aman on Wednesday .
On Sept 21, a man was shot by unknown assailants at a house at Bandar Kinrara. News of the incident circulated on social media and WhatsApp, with people being advised to be cautious.He claimed that the victim had just parked his car in front of the house and was about to enter when he was shot by someone who followed him on a motorcycle.
Following the incident, Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Ismadi Borhan said on Sept 28 that police were alerted about the shooting around 12.45pm."Investigations revealed the 35-year-old victim suffered injuries to his left ribs, believed to be from a gunshot," he said in a statement."The Selangor police headquarters forensic unit was dispatched to the scene. Investigations are ongoing and we have identified the suspects involved.
"Operations are underway to track down and arrest the suspects," he said adding that the case had been classified as attempted murder. Those with information on the case can contact the police hotline at 03-2052 9999 or visit the nearest police station.
