Cops probe 'police pickup line' after viral tweet

Police are investigating whether one of its personnel had crossed the line by texting a woman to purportedly "get to know" her better, after stopping her at a movement control order roadblock.

In the exchange on Twitter, Bukit Aman's official account @PDRMsia responded to a netizen with the Twitter handle @nnnadzifah who recalled her encounter with the police officer...

We look up to police to protect the public... not look for others to protect us from the police... I still choose to believe majority police is decent PDRMsia to uphold the good image of police, we urge u to do something effective to prevent this from happening again!
