JOHOR BARU: Police arrested four men after they attacked a bouncer with a parang causing him to lose a finger after a melee at a pub here on Thursday (Sept 5).

Johor Baru OCPD Asst Comm Shahurinain Jais said the incident occurred along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak Susur 1 here at around 4am Thursday morning.

“The victim tried to block the attack with his hand causing a serious injury to the index finger on his left hand, ” he said in a statement Tuesday .
