PETALING JAYA: Police have detained a man after he was spotted waving a"revolver" while driving near One Utama.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid in a statement on Monday , said that a complainant lodged the report on Sunday . "The suspect was seen driving a red Proton Wira and was waving what looked like a gun and aimed upwards. At 10pm the police arrested a 28-year-old man at an apartment in Bandar Sri Damansara.

"The car and a toy gun were seized during the arrest. He confessed to the incident and told the police that he was using the toy while playing with a child in the car at the time," he said.Article type: metered
