Ipoh Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Unit chief Deputy Supt Koo Boon Kuat said the roads would be closed in stages between Sunday and Thursday to allow the chariot procession to journey between the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Buntong and Sri Subramaniar Temple at Gunung Cheroh, where the celebration would be held on Tuesday .
The roads involved, he said, were Jalan Sungai Pari, Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Lahat, Jalan Sultan Yusoff, Jalan Sultan Iskandar, Jalan Sultan Idris Shah, Jalan Laxamana, Jalan Onn Jaafar, Jalan Raja Musa Aziz and Jalan Datuk Ahmad Said."On Monday , all roads into Jalan Raja Musa Aziz where the Sri Subramaniar Temple is located will be closed off or detoured from 8am until 2pm on Wednesday ," he said in a statement on Saturday .
