PETALING JAYA: Subsidies for cooking oil under the National People's Well-being and Economic Recovery Package (Pemulih) by the government will be beneficial to Malaysians, says Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali.

PETALING JAYA: Subsidies for cooking oil under the National People's Well-being and Economic Recovery Package by the government will be beneficial to Malaysians, says Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali .

Khairuddin, in welcoming the Pemulih package, said Malaysians were anticipating the announcement as it would alleviate the burden brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. Khairuddin said with the implementation of the cooking oil subsidy that five kilograms of cooking oil will not cost more than RM30 a bottle.
