Among the controversial demands was one made by Pasir Mas MP Ahmad Fadhli Shaari under the religion area calling for top government positions to be held only by Malay Muslims. Under the education area, Nurul Fatin Aqilah Rahim, a Bachelor’s Degree student at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, called for the gradual abolishment of vernacular schools in the country.
