He said as the country will begin transitioning into the endemic phase on April 1, the people should continue to cooperate with the government's efforts to minimise infection and to protect the country from a new wave.
"I do hope the people can lead a normal and joyful life, the economy rejuvenate and prosperity of the country is restored," he said in a statement after chairing the Dewan Negara Perak at Istana Iskandariah in Kuala Kangsar on Tuesday ."Preventive steps as advised by the National Security Council and Health Ministry must always be followed," he added.
"I will be getting the views and advice from the relevant authorities before setting a guideline and advice to the Islamic institutions, mosques and surau," he said.
