Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said work will begin after the final details of the project are discussed and decided between SRS Consortium Sdn Bhd and Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd . — Bernama picGEORGE TOWN, March 29 — The Penang government expects construction work for the Penang Light Rail Transit Mutiara Line project to begin September of October this year.

“The state government welcomes the announcement of Transport Minister and this is a start, there is much more work that will follow, and in his previous visit, he expressed the intention that the project will begin in the third or fourth quarter of this year,” he told reporters here today.
