Kota Kinabalu: Parti Warisan expressed concern on the availability and affordability of certain types of rice in Sabah due to soaring prices.

They also raised concern on the potential threat to Sabah’s fishing industry following China’s new map whose sea border overlaps Malaysia’s off Sabah.Putatan Wanita Warisan Chief Juriah Uda said it is common to feed fragrant rice to children and elderly who are susceptible to rice constipation, but with soaring prices and possible intermittent shortage caused by unpredictable weather, many families will find it difficult to sustain themselves financially.
