Company manager held 4 days over govt contract bribery

The MACC remanded a 43-year-old company manager at midnight for allegedly paying bribes to procure contracts at a ministry worth RM60 million since 2018. – Pic courtesy of MACC, June 24, 2021.

A COMPANY manager has been remanded for four days over bribery in procuring RM60 million worth of contracts at a ministry. The remand order until June 27 was granted to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission by assistant registrar Roslizawati Mohd Zanin at the Putrajaya magistrates’ court this morning.
