Exactly. For eg my neighbour doesn't keep their cats in check. It poops in other people's gardens. Imagine the drams if a dog did that...annoying

root problem: human are the culprits; abandoned pets can be found almost everyday. also, what's the percentage of owners spaying/neutering pets? why feral cat/dogs catchers not active everyday since they're paid daily wages? to rely on only reports is absolutely ridiculous.

Is that even a valid question? This rampant and open abuse against dogs by council employees (predominantly Malays) have been going on for decades. Nothing shocking.
Cats will eat their dead owners and dogs will die with their owners… take it however you choose.

Why are dogs regarded as 'evil' and 'untouchable' by the majority? Allah did not declare dogs as such. It is weird that the majority claims to be followers of a sacred religion that encourages environmental and animal protection... yet they seem very reluctant to do so.

Because those m*rons think dogs bite ppl n cat don't. But they don't realise that in rescue mission dogs are used for rescue purposes when there's earthquake or landslides. Are cats being use to rescue ppl? Not that I hve heard of.

Because they are all Malays and they treat dog as haram, but during disaster Dog's don't differentiate between Malays and non Malays, they save ppl.. MBPJ and rest of all town councils In Malaysia same .double standards.. Except Sabah n Sarawak I presume.

as a doctor ,ive seen a lot of cases involving dog attack,not a single one from cat so far..cat will react when provoked whilst dogs(stray or not) on the other hand might attack without any provocation..and yeah it will get worse if the victim are childrens
Dogs have to be licensed. They must also be leashed in public. Their owners have to pickup their litter when out walking the dogs. Nothing to do with Muslims or not.

All because the enforcement officers are all Malay and as Muslims, Local Ulamak taught them Anjing haram but they forget that many rich Arab breed Dogs since ancient times and even Muhamad had guard dogs in his camps to prevent surprised attacks during the night.

Positive: Dogs can protect human in times of danger but dogs are also a dangerous animal to be left alone while cats will only steal food and leave their poops. Negative: Dogs are actually for non Muslims but cats are for all races. When rhere's Muslim, you need 2 be considerate.
Dogs do so much for human and yet these local councils treat them badly . Those abusing them will meet their worse when karma hits them.
