COMMENT | Should non-Muslims care about transgender mosque bans?

Not that the rights of trans people are not urgent but rather all these issues of rights are in jeopardy because of the balkanisation of dissent when it comes to collective and individual rights in this country.

Why non muslims? Even non muslims dont support transgender. No religion supports transgender.

We Malaysians care for all races. Don’t rely on child molester to decide who should be allowed to enter mosques

Why? NM cannot comment on Muslim matters but Muslims can comment on NM matters. Does it make any difference care or not?

Of course they have to. JAKIM and Pas-Umno-Bersatu fellows may even instruct other religions to do the same in their places of worship. Are people of other religions waiting for that to happen?

Problem normally comes when we sibuk and jaga tepi kain orang. Because most of the time we dont really understand the other religion - not even 2% but imposing our beliefs to them. Goes both ways

I guess it's down to the individual, just because they don't have the same faith doesn't mean they shouldn't care about the rights of another human beings freedom of worship...
