Universities and colleges are facing major crunches due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hands-on classes and lectures have been replaced with online teaching, staff members are being confined to working from homes, and graduation ceremonies are postponed or done virtually.

“We are giving priority to three of our main practices, which are safeguarding the students’ health, maintain integrity of the training and ensuring the graduation dates, ” said RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus Prof Whitford agreed that it is a balancing act as due to the pandemic, the course study had been condensed to complete within the given time period, while maintaining the integrity of the training, with health given top priority.

“The first two and a half years of the training is done in Dublin, Ireland, and most of our students are now back.
